On 27 January 2012, the Ambassador of France to New Zealand, H. E. Mr Francis Etienne, hosted a team of student rugby players at the Residence of France. The sportsmen were led by Mr Christophe Paradinas, coach of the Paris Descartes team and head of the sports department at the ENA.
Their time here gave these French rugby amateurs a chance to face off against New Zealand sides, a challenge which was accepted very well by the players from Université Paris V René Descartes.
